GROHE Digital Collection Wins 'Product Innovation of the Year' award at The SleepEvent
For the fifth consecutive year, GROHE was the headline sponsor of Europe's leading event for the design, development and architecture of hotels: The Sleep Event.
Held at the Business Design Centre, London, from 23-24 November 2011, the event continues to attract designers and specifiers looking for the latest innovative designs. As usual, GROHE stepped up to the challenge with two new collections catching the eyes of show visitors: GROHE Ondus® Veris Digital and Allure Brilliant.
'Form versus Function'
Martin Rowell, UK Channel Manager for Architects and Designers, was one of this year's seminar presenters. His presentation 'Form versus Function' posed the question: 'has the balance between form and function tilted towards form when designing hotel bathrooms?' and included the Top 10 hotel bedroom and bathroom dislikes of hotel guests. Clingy shower curtain, anyone?
European Hotel Design of the Year awards
The European Hotel Design of the Year awards continue to highlight the best in hotel design – from new builds and conversions to suites and spas, entries across all categories were of an exceptionally high standard and we would like to congratulate all those who won an award.
Product Innovation of the Year
But it wasn't just the hotels that were awarded during the event. The new GROHE Digital Collection was voted Product Innovation of the Year by an esteemed judging panel of design experts, closing yet another successful year at Sleep.
